Richard Spalinger (born February 18, 1975 in Zweisimmen ) is a former Swiss freestyle skier in the ski cross discipline .

Spalinger started at the 2010 Winter Olympics for his home country. He was able to qualify for the elimination round with the 27th place in the qualifying round, where he came in second in his first round. In the quarter-finals, however, he only finished 4th and was eliminated, making him 14th overall.

In 2005 and 2007 he was a participant in the Freestyle Skiing World Championships , where he was able to achieve 10th and 15th place respectively. In his career he was able to place himself in the top 10 in World Cup races seven times, including a third place in the race on January 16, 2008 in Flaine .
