Richard Stern (medic, 1865)

Richard Stern (born September 3, 1865 in Breslau ; † February 1, 1911 there ) was a German doctor ( internist ).

Stern studied medicine in Breslau, Tübingen and Berlin and received his doctorate in Breslau in 1888. From 1889 he was an assistant at the medical clinic and completed his habilitation there in 1892 in internal medicine with a thesis on intestinal infections. In 1900 he became associate professor and director of the Medical Polyclinic in Wroclaw. From 1906 he was also the primary physician at the Allerheiligenhospital in Breslau.

His son Rudolf Stern was also a doctor and his grandson was the historian Fritz Stern .
