Richard Valdov (born February 9, 1911 in Tallinn , Estonia Governorate , † November 8, 1998 in Kenmore , Buffalo , United States ) was an Estonian football player and chemist .
Career
Richard Valdov played in his football career, of which only the years 1932 and 1933 are known, for JK Tallinna Kalev and Tallinna JK from the Estonian capital Tallinn. In the Estonian Football Championship in 1933 he was top scorer with 14 goals . In the same year he ran in a friendly international match between the Estonian national football team and Lithuania in Kaunas .
Later years
In 1949 Richard Valdov emigrated to the United States with his wife and three children . He worked there as a chemist for the EI du Pont de Nemours and Company in Buffalo . He died after a long illness in 1998 at the age of 87 at his home in Kenmore .
