The Richards nunatak is a nunatak in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Prince Albert Mountains it looms between the McLea Nunatak and the Pudding Butte .

The southern group of a 1962-1963 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named him. Namesake is David Richards, radio operator at Scott Base , who took care of the training of the sled dogs of the southern group.
