The Azerbaijan Embassy in Vienna is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Austria and at the same time the permanent representation of the country to international organizations ( UNIDO , UNODC , IAEA , CTBTO , OSCE ) in Vienna . It was founded in 1995.

The Vienna Embassy also manages the offices of the ambassador in Slovenia and Slovakia, where a respective chargé d'affaires represents the ambassador, as well as the Azerbaijani cultural center (Bellariastrasse 8).

It is located in the villa that the actor Hans Moser lived in in 1899 in Hietzing, Vienna's 13th district, at Hügelgasse 2. The Republic of Azerbaijan acquired the building in 2001 and then underwent extensive renovation and adaptation for representational purposes. The embassy in Vienna is one of the country's largest missions worldwide.
