Direction correction

As Richtungskorrektion in is mathematical mapping the correction of a small distortion of the Gauss-Kruger projection called. This in geodesy and physical geography much-used image of the earth ellipsoid onto the plane itself is conformal but forms straight sightings and geodesics not the ellipsoid than straight down, but as a slightly curved line.

The direction correction increases quadratically with the distance to the central meridian of the Gauß-Krüger strip.
