Ridan (born June 23, 1975 in Brou-sur-Chantereine , France) is a French singer and former rapper .
Ridan's real name is Nadir Kouidri . He was first known as a French rapper from the suburbs, whose lyrics addressed the dissatisfaction of immigrants.
With the change of style towards the chanson, he changed his stage name by spelling his real first name from the back. His style is now characterized by melodic rhythms and literary texts.
