Friedrich Karius

Friedrich Karius (born May 29, 1910 in Nachterstedt , † April 4, 1973 in Radolfzell on Lake Constance ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1929, Karius initially worked in industry. Since 1931 he was employed as a primary school teacher. From 1939 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier . After the end of the war he worked in the school administration.

Political party

Karius had been a member of the SPD since 1930. From 1961 to 1967 he was chairman of the SPD district association in Konstanz .

MP

Karius belonged to the German Bundestag from August 18, 1969, when he replaced the late MP Paul Kübler , until 1969. He was drawn into parliament via the state list of Baden-Württemberg .
