Ridvan Bode

Ridvan Bode (born June 26, 1959 in Korça ) is an Albanian politician of the Democratic Party (PD), of which he was former general secretary. From 2005 to 2013 he was Minister of Finance in the 1st and 2nd Cabinet under Sali Berisha .

Bode was elected to the Albanian Parliament for the first time in 1996, where he stayed for only one year. However, in 2001 he was re-elected.

Since April 2015, the public prosecutor's office has been investigating him for failure to declare his property and for money laundering. Previously, the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Control of Property and Conflict of Interest brought charges against him, accusing him of failing to declare all of his property to the Inspectorate.

Bode chairs the PD parliamentary group.
