Rimvydas Turčinskas
Rimvydas Turčinskas (born February 25, 1956 in Kazlų Rūda ) is a Lithuanian doctor and politician.
Life
After graduating from secondary school in 1974, he studied medicine at the Kauno medicinos institutas from 1974 to 1980 and became an orthopedic traumatologist. From 1981 to 1983 he was a surgeon in Marijampolė , from 1998 to 2004 director of the hospital, from 2004 to 2008 a member of the Seimas , from 2006 to 2008 the Minister of Health of Lithuania in the Kirkilas cabinet (14th government). From 1990 to 2000 he was a member of the Marijampolė City Council.
He has been a member of LSDP since 2008 .
He is married and has a daughter and a son with Mrs. Loreta (* 1955).
