Gediminas Černiauskas

Gediminas Černiauskas (born May 15, 1957 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian economist and former politician , health minister and vice minister .

Life

After graduation in 1975 at the Salomėja-Neris middle school graduated Černiauskas 1980, the diploma in industrial design at the Vilniaus universitetas (VU) from 1983 to 1986 postgraduate . From 1980 to 1983 he taught at the VU and from 2004 to 2007 as a lecturer at the Mykolo Romerio universitetas , from 1983 to 1990 he was a research assistant at the Economic Institute of the Lietuvos mokslija akademija .

He was an advisor to the Lithuanian Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas . From 2001 to 2004 and from 2007 to 2008 he was Deputy Minister of Health, from 2008 Minister of Health of Lithuania in the Kirkilas cabinet (14th government) and from 2012 to 2014 in the Butkevičius cabinet .
