Rinkenbergerhof

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Rinkenbergerhof is a group of houses in the north of Speyer , west of the B 9 . Originally a small group of farms, a number of other houses, including houses for forest workers, have been built there.

In this area there is a stud, the experimental station of the Agricultural Investigation and Research Institute Speyer , a facility of the District Association of the Palatinate , with a meteorological station, an inn and a chapel, the Laurentius Chapel, which belongs to the parish of St. Konrad (Speyer) . Next to the chapel there is a sandstone atonement cross from 1616, with the original inscription Warzo Des Lorentz Heisels , which is still partially preserved today.

LUFA Speyer is also the seat of the Association of German Agricultural Inspection and Research Institutes .
