The Rinspeed Veleno (also called Rinspeed Viper Veleno ) is a concept vehicle from the Swiss automobile manufacturer Rinspeed . It was presented at the 1993 Geneva Motor Show and is based on the US Dodge Viper .

The vehicle was painted in poison green instead of the standard red and modified with a modified front apron , rearview mirror moved to the windshield , a rear rollover protection with integrated, high-offset taillights and a different rear .

The Veleno is powered by a ten-cylinder engine that has been increased by 150 hp from 400 to 550 hp . The interior of the car has also been heavily modified. While leather was the dominant material in the interior of the base vehicle , Rinspeed installed the so-called "Vinerus", a specially manufactured plastic material, in the Veleno.

The vehicle also features a radio from the Japanese company Alpine and the Nokia 121.
