Rio de Couros is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Ourém . The community had 1877 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Rio de Couros and Casal dos Bernardos were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Rio de Couros e Casal dos Bernardos . Rio de Couros is the seat of this newly formed municipality.
