The Riserva Marina Capo Rizzuto is an Italian marine reserve . It is located in Calabria in the province of Crotone . It became a protected area by ministerial decree of December 27, 1991 and February 19, 2002. The area covers an area of around 14,721 hectares with 42 km of coastline and includes the municipalities of Crotone and Isola di Capo Rizzuto .

The aim of the protected area is, on the one hand, to preserve a unique coastal area with numerous bays, and, on the other, to preserve the archaeological heritage located on the seabed. Furthermore, large areas of seagrass and underwater caves are to be protected as ecosystems. For this reason, special full protection zones have been set up in which diving, snorkelling, swimming and fishing are strictly prohibited and all boat traffic is prohibited.
