Risk birth
A high-risk birth is understood to mean any birth that is accompanied by symptoms that indicate an increased risk for the child and / or the mother. Birth after a high-risk pregnancy must always be classified as a risk.
But even after an unproblematic pregnancy, risks can arise during delivery :
- Premature rupture of the bladder
- amniotic fluid containing mekonium d. H. Amniotic fluid with excretions from the unborn child
- abnormal heart rate patterns
- Increase in blood pressure in the parturient
- laborious labor over 16 hours
- Labor anomalies u. v. m.
Together with a midwife , a doctor must also be present in the event of a high-risk birth, and two other doctors should be on standby for a caesarean section that may suddenly become necessary .
