Risk birth

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A high-risk birth is understood to mean any birth that is accompanied by symptoms that indicate an increased risk for the child and / or the mother. Birth after a high-risk pregnancy must always be classified as a risk.

But even after an unproblematic pregnancy, risks can arise during delivery :

Together with a midwife , a doctor must also be present in the event of a high-risk birth, and two other doctors should be on standby for a caesarean section that may suddenly become necessary .
