Rissne is an underground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Rissne district of the Sundbyberg municipality . The station is served by the Blå linjen of the Stockholm metro system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. On a normal working day, 6,000 commuters get on here.
The station was put into operation on August 19, 1985, when the section of the Blå linjen between Västra skogen and Rinkeby was opened. The platforms are about 25-40 meters below ground. The station is located between the Duvbo and Rinkeby stations . It is around 9.5 km to Stockholm Central Station .
