River Volley Piacenza was an Italian women's volleyball club from Piacenza that played in the Italian A1 series.
history
The club was founded in Rivergaro in 1983 and played in the A2 series from 2003 . After a season 2006/07 in the A1 series and the move to Piacenza, the women rose again in 2009 to the top Italian division and played in the top group since 2011. In 2013 and 2014 they won the Italian double from championship and cup victory.
In its history, the association has regularly adopted the names of the main sponsors in the association names, including: Libertas-River Volley, Rebecchi River Volley, Rebecchi Cariparma, RebecchiLupa Piacenza, Rebecchi Nordmeccanica, Liu Jo Nordmeccanica.
The association was dissolved in 2018.
