Robert-Jan Derksen (born January 3, 1974 in Nijmegen ) is a Dutch professional golfer on the European Tour .

Four times in a row (1993–96) he won the Dutch amateur championships and in 1996 became a professional golfer .

Derksen qualified for the first time for the 1998 season of the European Tour , but could not consistently assert himself in the major tournament series, and temporarily relegated to the second-ranked Challenge Tour . Nevertheless, he has already won two titles on the European Tour; the always well-filled Dubai Desert Classic in 2003 (ahead of Ernie Els ), and the Madeira Island Open 2005. His best season was 2003, when Derksen took 40th place in the final money list.

So far, he has played in the World Cup six times for his country .
