Robert Berlakovich

Robert Berlakovich (born July 8, 1900 in Nebersdorf ; † May 13, 1994 in Schachendorf ) was an Austrian landlord and politician during the time of Austrofascism. From 1934 to 1938 he was a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Life

Berlakovich was born as the son of the innkeeper Johann Berlakovich from Nebersdorf and grew up in a Croatian-speaking family. He attended elementary school in Nebersdorf and then switched to grammar school in Budapest. Berlakovich served as a one-year volunteer in 1918 and subsequently ran his late parents' inn. He studied at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences and graduated in 1931 with the academic degree Dipl.-Ing. from. Berlakovich was Chamber Councilor of the Burgenland Chamber of Agriculture from 1936 to 1938.

Berlakovich was married.
