Robert Dodaro

Robert J. Dodaro OSA (born January 26, 1955 ) is an American Roman Catholic theologian.

Life

He graduated from St. Augustine Seminary High School in Holland, Michigan in 1973 . Until 2016, the specialist in the writings of Augustine von Hippo was President of the Institutum Patristicum Augustinianum in Rome and until 2018 as professor of theology at the faculty. He was also Professor of Patristic Theology at the Pontifical Lateran University .

He is also co-editor of the Augustinus Lexicon. Pope Francis appointed him on August 2, 2016 as a member of the Study Commission for the Diaconate of Women.
