Robert Flügger

Robert Flügger (born April 30, 1896 in Wilhelmshaven , † February 14, 1959 in Buchholz in the Nordheide ) was a German politician ( GB / BHE ).

After finishing school, Flügger began vocational training until 1914. In the first year of the war, he volunteered for military service in the imperial man. In 1915 he was wounded but returned to the military. In 1917 he survived a poison gas attack, but became gas sick. After his discharge from military service, he began to study acting and singing in Essen, Bremen and Hamburg. He earned the cost of his studies as a miner. In 1924 he settled in Silesia. In 1939 he was called up for military service in the Navy. He was captured and released in 1945.

After his release he could no longer return to Silesia as a war expellee. Since 1950 he has therefore been a member of the BHE. In the Harburg district he became district chairman.

Flügger was elected as a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in the second electoral period from April 22, 1953 to May 5, 1955.
