Robert Gonera (born February 1, 1969 in Syców ) is a Polish actor .

Life

Gonera graduated from the State Drama School PWST in Wroclaw in 1991 . Since graduating, he has mainly worked with theaters in Wroclaw. Between 1992 and 1999 he was part of the Teatr Polski ensemble in Wroclaw.

In 1999 he made his breakthrough as a film actor with the film The Guilt . For the lead role in this thriller he was awarded the Polish Film Prize for Best Actor in 2000. The film by Krzysztof Krauze was also awarded as the best film of the year at the same time. In the same year he took a role in the TV series M jak miłość , which increased his popularity in Poland. In total, he played between 2000 and 2006 in 112 episodes of the series.

He was married twice. His first wife was the actress Jolanta Fraszyńska (1990-1994). From 2003 to 2012 he was married to Karolina Wolska. He has three children.
