Robert H. Coleman

Robert Henry Coleman (born November 1, 1869 in Bardstown , Kentucky , † February 13, 1946 in Dallas , Texas ) was an American editor of Baptist songbooks with a total circulation of over 13 million. In his songbook "Harvest Hymns" in 1924, a version of the song Good Morning to All was published for the first time , which contains the second verse of the more famous and later independent song Happy Birthday to You . He is believed to be the likely lyricist of the verse. Colemann was also responsible as musical director for the selection of the songs at the 3rd Congress of the Baptist World Federation in Stockholm in 1923.
