Robert H. Frank

Robert H. Frank (* 1945 ) is an American economist . He is Professor of Economics at Cornell University .

Life

Frank first studied mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology ( BS , 1966). A Masters in Statistics (1971) and a Ph.D. in Economics (1972) from the University of California, Berkeley . Since 1972 he has been a professor at Cornell University. 1978–1980 he was chief economist of the Civil Aeronautics Board, in addition there were several stays at other universities, among other things he was professor at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris from 2000–2001 . He has been a columnist for the New York Times since 2005 .
