Robert Leidinger

Robert Leidinger (born July 3, 1941 in Passau ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the German Bundestag .

Life

After leaving school, Leidinger trained as an industrial clerk. In 1962 he began his military service after which he aspired to train as a career officer. In 1981 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel.

Leidinger joined the SPD in 1968, where he exercised numerous functions at all levels, for example, he was temporarily chairman of the SPD district of Lower Bavaria. From 1975 to 1996 he performed municipal mandates at the municipal, district and district level. In 1987 Leidinger was elected to the Bundestag, to which he was a member for 15 years - until the end of the fourteenth legislative period in 2002.
