from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Robert Lesbounit (* 1904 ; † 1989 ) was a French painter and sculptor .

He was of the opinion that in the 20th century one should no longer only address the rich, enlightened clientele and that art is needed in public places, on walls and walls, so to speak wall art. He designed numerous facades of public buildings. He also gave evening courses in Paris that other artists attended before they became famous, such as Jean Ipoustéguy .
