Robert Metcalf (* 1947 in Birmingham ) is a British-German singer-songwriter.

In 1973 Metcalf came to Berlin as a law student for an internship , where he still lives today. He studied social education in Berlin and worked, among other things, in drug counseling. Metcalf has been working as a freelance songwriter and songwriter since 1991, giving concerts for children and adults (“Englishman in Berlin”).

Its trademark is a black melon .

Robert Metcalf has released numerous CDs, and his songs can also be heard frequently on children's radio. He can be seen regularly on children's television in the show with the elephant .
