Robert Pingitzer (born December 29, 1985 in Vienna ) is an Austrian triathlete . He is Austrian champion (M25) on the long distance (2012) and is included in the best list of Austrian triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

The trained secondary school teacher for mathematics and physical education Pingitzer started in 2007 for the first time in a triathlon over the short distance and in 2008 for the first time in the long distance.

He has been a professional triathlete since 2013.

In September 2017 he was third at the state championship on the long distance triathlon in Podersdorf and in 2018 he was third again. He is trained by Johann Lindener.
