Robert Reed (writer)

Robert David Reed (born October 9, 1956 in Omaha , Nebraska ) is an American science fiction writer.

Life

Reed studied biology at Nebraska Wesleyan University (NWU) in Lincoln , Nebraska, and graduated with a B.Sc. from. He then worked at Mapes Industries until 1987. He has been a full-time writer since his first novel The Leeshore was published .

He submitted his first published short story in 1986 under the pseudonym Robert Touzalin . In 2007 he received the Hugo Award in the Best Novella category for A Billion Eves .
