Robert W. Bingham Prize
The Robert W. Bingham Prize (complete: PEN / Robert W. Bingham Prize for Debut Fiction ) is a literary prize named after Robert Bingham from the American PEN Center ( PEN America ) for highly talented literary debutants. Since 2002, three US- based writers have been awarded a scholarship every two years since the beginning of 2002 : To support their work on their second literary work, the winners each received 35,000 US dollars annually for two years.
The prize has been awarded annually since 2006 - still for work on the second work by a literary debutant - and is endowed with $ 25,000 (as of 2016).
