Roberto Cereceda (born October 10, 1984 in Santiago de Chile ) is a Chilean football player . The defender is a Chilean international .

He started his career at Audax Italiano in the Primera División . With the club he took part in the 2007 Copa Libertadores . In the summer he switched to CSD Colo-Colo , with which he was three times Chilean champion, winning the Clausura in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In 2010 he gave a positive doping test at a Copa Sudamericana game and was banned for six months. In 2011 he played at Universidad Católica and won the Copa Chile with the club . Then he went to Universidad de Chile . With La U he was Chilean Apertura champion in 2012. In the same year, the club was defeated in the finals of the Recopa Sudamericana against FC Santos . In 2013 the Copa Chile could be won. In 2014 he moved to Figueirense FC in Brazil, initially on loan, and later on with the club. He returned to Chile in early 2016 and joined Unión La Calera . He had to relegate with the team at the end of the 2015/16 season . He left the club and switched to CD Palestino . He played there until the end of 2017 before he was hired by CD O'Higgins .

Cereceda was called up to the Chilean national team 32 times between 2006 and 2010.
