Roberto Giobbi

Roberto Giobbi (born May 1, 1959 in Basel ) is a Swiss magician and specialist author of card art .

life and work

After studying literature and linguistics, Roberto Giobbi worked as an interpreter and translator. In 1988 he turned his hobby of magic into a profession. Giobbi has published articles and essays on magic in journals in Europe and overseas. He has published over 50 books in 6 languages. His five-volume work "Grosse Kartenschule" is regarded worldwide as the standard work of card art and is the most widely translated magic book series in the history of magic.

Giobbi was a guest of many TV and radio appearances in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, USA, Japan and South America. He gives his performance as well as his lectures on the psychology of deception, presentation and communication in 5 languages ​​that he speaks fluently. Giobbi is a member of the Escuela Magica de Madrid, a modern school of thought in the art of magic, which has 40 members worldwide. He lives and works as a freelance magician, seminar leader and specialist writer in Muttenz . Since 2015 he has been one of the permanent authors of the Austrian club magazine Aladin .
