Roberto Loyola
Roberto Loyola (* 1937 in Rome , † 2000 in Viterbo ) was an Italian painter , film producer and director .
From the late 1960s onwards, Loyola worked a number of times as a film producer and, following an unpublished film from 1970, directed a follow-up to Decamerone three years later as John A. Shadow . With his last film, Cane arrabiati , Loyola went bankrupt, turned to painting in the mid-1970s and became one of the representatives of the Sucola di Piazza del Popolo . He created Pop Art pictures that combined the tradition of American culture of the 1960s with that of Italian pre-war culture.
