history
The club was founded in 1907 under the name Robertsfors Gymnastik och Idrottsförening , but changed the name to Robertsfors IK a short time later . The club's offerings consisted of gymnastics , football and athletics in summer and skiing and ski jumping in winter .
For a long time, the soccer team of Robertsfors IK played only under-class. In the late 1960s, early 1970s and again in the 1980s, she appeared several times in the fourth division. In 1996 she rose as the season winner of the fifth division 4 Västerbotten Södra again in the fourth division. Here the team established itself in the front right away and - after being third in the table in 1998, the promotion round was just missed - rose to the third division for the first time in 1999. In the following years, the Robertsfors IK team jumped into the top division. After taking third place in 2002 and 2003, she qualified in 2005 after a league reform for Division 1, which was newly created as the third division . As seventh in the table, she missed the promotion in the subsequent season and sat down midfield of the fourth division season.
