The Robertson Massif is a rugged and largely icy massif 11 km in length in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies north of the Pa Tio Tio Gap and forms the northern part of the Kirkwood Range as a counterpart to the Endeavor Massif . Mount Gauss and Mount Chetwynd rise from the massif .
This formation is named after William Robertson, director of the Department of Survey and Land Information of the New Zealand government from 1988 to 1996 and member of the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR).
