The Endeavor Massif a large massif with a flattened summit on the Scott coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It extends south of the Pa Tio Tio Gap to the Fry Glacier and forms the southern end of the Kirkwood Range in the Prince Albert Mountains as a counterpart to the Robertson Massif to the north . The Shoulder Mountain , Mount Belgrave and Mount Creak rise from the southern part of the massif. The flank facing the McMurdo Sound to the east is characterized by steep cliffs and protruding mountain ridges . To the west it slopes gently from a wide, plateau-like and snow-covered summit.

The New Zealand group of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) named the massif in October 1957 as Mount Endeavor . After measurements by the United States Geological Survey in 1999 and consultations between the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names and the New Zealand Geographic Board , a separate naming of the massif and Mount Endeavor near the Ketchum Ridge ridge prevailed. Both the massif and the mountain are after the HMNZS Endeavor (formerly RRS John Biscoe ), the supply ship of the New Zealand group on the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition.
