Robin Roshardt (born February 22, 1988 in Zurich ) is a former Swiss tennis player . He won the under-18 singles Orange Bowl in 2005.

Career

Robin Roshardt is the son of the former professional and Fed Cup tennis player Claudia Roshardt, née Pasquale, who made it to 69th place in the 1982 WTA ranking.

Robin Roshardt celebrated his greatest successes especially in the junior division. At the end of his junior career, he had a record of 76:28 (49:18 in doubles). His greatest successes were winning the unofficial Junior World Championship in 2005, the Orange Bowl , and reaching the quarter-finals at the Junior Grand Slams in Roland Garros and Wimbledon in 2006. In the ITF U18 ranking, his highest place was 4th.

His appearances at future and challenge level were less successful . In 2008 he won a future tournament in Kalamata, Greece and was also Swiss champion. In 2009 he reached the final in Belek, Turkey at the same tournament level. Thanks to a wildcard, his only two appearances on the ATP Tour were in Gstaad in 2006 and 2008 . Here he lost the opening game.

Due to numerous injuries, Roshardt had to end his career in 2012 and has since been active as a tennis trainer (Roshardt Tennis Academy) and in the amateur tennis sector.
