Robin Theryoung

Robin Theryoung (born November 11, 1978 in Michigan ) is an American goalball player .

After Theryoung heard about Goalball from friends, she decided to become active in this sport. That's why she attended the Sports Education Camp sponsored by the Michigan Blind Athletic Association in 1994 . She was immediately enthusiastic about goalball, as it was possible for her to achieve a high level of sport in this sport despite her disability. In 1998 she took part in her first goalball world championship.

In 2002 Theryoung graduated from Albion College. She had also studied at Western Michigan University , where she received two masters degrees.

Theryoung is currently working at the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind .
