The Roman Catholic pilgrimage church of St. Rochus is located three kilometers southeast of the city of Olesno (German: Rosenberg OS) on the western outskirts of Grodzisko (German: Grötsch ) or at the former place Walspek-Rosenhain on a small hill in the fields and is one Schrotholzkirche from the 18th century.

history

According to an inscription above the sacristy door, the Rochuskirche was built in 1710. The church was restored in 1960 and in the 1990s.

Interior

  • Main altar: The church is equipped with a baroque altar from 1714 with figures of St. Gregory, St. John Nepomuk, St. Augustine, St. Ignatius, St. Barbara, St. Helena and the Holy Trinity. In the altar there is a painting of Saint Roch of Montpellier with the panorama of the city of Olesno.
