Rockin da North

Rockin da North ( RDN ) is a Finnish hip hop group. The group was loosely connected, with different artists working together on each album. She released a total of three albums.

Band history

The debut album RDN Allstars was released in 2002 via BMG Finland Oy . It produced the chart singles Operaatio RDN , Kingsize and Pelkkää viihdettä and even reached number 5 on the Finnish album charts. The German rappers Curse and Samir are also represented on the album .

After the debut album mainly brought together Finnish artists, well-known American artists such as GZA and RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan and Tha Alkaholics could be won for the second album Star Warz . It was also published by BMG Finland. There were also several chart singles on this album. The album itself reached number 4.

After a three-year break, the group's last album to date was released in 2006, called Power of the Sound , this time via Edel Records . While the first albums were mainly rooted in hip-hop, the last album was characterized by a mix of rock , pop , punk , metal and classical music .
