Ezkimo

Ezkimo (born February 3, 1980 in Vantaa , † June 21, 2015 in Helsinki , real name: Mikko Mutenia ) was a Finnish rapper . He was active from 2011 under the pseudonym Agentti SUMO .

Life

Ezkimo grew up in Vantaa and later moved to Helsinki. There he was in the local hip-hop scene and brought out a demo and the single Rokkia in 1999 . During an appearance at the Tavastia Club, he caught the attention of the major label BMG Finland and the label signed him. The first single was Salainen agentti 998 . He also became a member of the Rockin da North crew , which produced several chart positions in the Finnish album charts.

In 2002 the debut album Iso E was released . The album produced two top ten hits: Näin on and Entinen (with Anna Kuoppamäki ) and received a gold record in Finland. In 2004 his second album Vaa ämsee was released . Guerra Norte and the American band Tha Alkaholiks were represented as guest musicians . It was the last album for BMG and could not build on the success of the previous album.

On September 9, 2009, his last album Muteniaatikot was released on the Playground Music label . Then Ezkimo changed his stage name to Agentti SUMO and released some music videos on YouTube . An album under the new artist name was planned. This did not happen, however, as Ezkimo fell into his death on June 21, 2015.
