Rode morning
The Rode Morgen (RM, German : Roter Morgen ) is a Marxist-Leninist organization in the Netherlands . The RM was founded in 1977 as a merger of various groups of former members of the Kommunistiese Eenheids Moving Nederland (marxisties-leninisties) (KEN (ml), German: Communist Unity Movement of the Netherlands (Marxist-Leninist)) under the name Groep van Marxisten-Leninisten / Rode Morgen (GML / Rode Morgen, German: Group Marxists-Leninists / Roter Morgen) founded. The main goal of the Rode Morgen is communism . To achieve this goal, according to the organization's program, it is necessary to establish the dictatorship of the proletariat in a revolutionary way through the overthrow of imperialism . To this end, the organization wants to create a “new Marxist-Leninist workers party ”. The Rode Morgen refers in its program to the China of Mao Zedong , which he regards as "real socialism".
In 1979 GML / Rode Morgen supported the port strike in Rotterdam.
Paul Rosenmöller , a former executive member of GML / Rode Morgen, later joined the GroenLinks (German: GrünLinks) party . Through his work in this party, he became the only former member of the GML / Rode Morgen to become more widely known in the Netherlands.
The organization is named after the newspaper of the same name it publishes.
The youth organization of Rode Morgen, founded in autumn 2012 by a group of young members ( Jongeren bij de Rode Morgen ; German about Jugend im Roten Morgen ) is called Jong en Strijdbaar (JeS; German young and combative ).
Der Rode Morgen is a member of the International Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations (ICMLPO).
The organization founding member of the International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations (ICOR).
