Paul Rosenmöller (born May 11, 1956 in Den Helder ) is a Dutch television presenter and politician of the GroenLinks .

Life

Rosenmöller studied sociology from 1974 to 1978. He dropped out and worked in the port of Rotterdam. Rosenmöller was involved in the Dutch trade union VNO-NCW , a member organization of the Federatie Nederlandse Vak Moving . From 1976 to 1982 he was a member of the Rode Morgen . Rosenmöller then joined the newly founded GroenLinks party. From September 6, 1989 to May 15, 2002 Rosenmöller was a member of the Second Chamber of the States General for GroenLinks, from May 17, 1994 to November 26, 2002 successor to Peter Lankhorst as group leader of GroenLinks. His successor as group leader was Femke Halsema in 2002 . Since 2003 Rosenmöller has been working as a TV presenter for the Dutch public broadcaster Interkerkelijke Omroep Nederland . Rosenmöller has been a member of the Groenlinks parliamentary group in the First Chamber since June 11, 2019 and is its chairman.

Rosenmöller is married and has five children.
