Peter Lankhorst

Peter Lankhorst (born January 1, 1947 in Zwolle ) is a Dutch politician of the GroenLinks .

Life

Lankhorst studied political science at the Universiteit van Amsterdam until 1974. Lankhorst was a member of the Politieke Partij Raduellen party from 1972 to 1990 . In 1990 he became a member of the GroenLinks party. Lankhorst was a member of the Second Chamber of the States General from June 10, 1981 to May 17, 1994 . From April 21, 1993 to May 5, 1994, Lankhorst was the successor of Ria Becker's parliamentary group leader of GroenLinks in the Second Chamber of the States General. He was followed as parliamentary group leader Paul Rosenmöller . From April 21, 1993 to February 22, 1994 Lankhorst was the successor of Ria Becker's party chairman of GroenLinks. Ina Brouwer succeeded him as party leader . During his parliamentary term, Lankhorst was openly outed as gay. As chairman, he heads the Forum Intervention Team : Veiligheid en Jeugd in Amsterdam.
