The toboggan run MTV Rosenheim am Tatzelwurm is a 700 meter long toboggan run above the Tatzlwurm at the forest car park in the Rosenheim district in Upper Bavaria ( Germany ).
history
The toboggan run will partly be built on an existing forest road. A lease agreement with the Bavarian State Forests has existed since 1981 . In 2007, in coordination with the Bavarian State Forests, the toboggan run was expanded to the current length, deviating from the forest road. During the renovation, the finish line was relocated, a completely new starting point was created and an existing overgrown service road was made passable. The toboggan run was given additional bunker walls to secure it . They will be dismantled again after the season. In coordination with the Bavarian State Forests, the better walls are always set up at the end of October at the beginning of November.
German and Bavarian championships in natural tobogganing as well as Bavarian championships in sport toboggan have been held on this toboggan run . Cup races, Tatzelwurmpokal, city championships of the city of Rosenheim and club championships MTV Rosenheim have also been held. But for a few years now only sports toboggan races have been held.
