The Rodgers Point is a headland of the Antarctic Ross Island . It is located 4 km northeast of Knob Point on the west coast of the Hut Point Peninsula and protrudes into Erebus Bay .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named her in 2000 after Thelma A. Rodgers, the first woman to winter at Scott Base in 1979 .
