Rodrigo Abascal , full name Rodrigo Abascal Barros , (born January 14, 1994 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.86 meter tall defensive player Abascal has been in the squad of the first division club Centro Atlético Fénix at least since the 2015 Clausura . There he made his debut under coach Rosario Martínez on March 29, 2015 in the 1: 2 home defeat by River Plate in the Primera División , when he came on in the 81st minute for Maximiliano Perg . In the 2014/15 season he played a total of five top division games (no goal). During the 2015/16 season, eight more first division appearances followed (no goal). In the 2016 season he was used in seven top division games (no goal) and one encounter (no goal) of the Copa Sudamericana 2016 .
