Maximiliano Perg , full name Maximiliano Perg Schneider , (born September 16, 1991 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.85 meter tall defensive player Perg has been in the squad of the Montevideo-based first division club Centro Atlético Fénix since the 2011/12 season . After four or nine first division appearances - each without a personal goal - in the seasons 2011/12 and 2012/13 he was used in 22 games (one goal) of the Primera División in the 2013/14 season . In the 2014/15 season he was used 22 times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league. During the 2015/16 season he played in 26 other top division games (no goal). At the beginning of July 2016, he moved to Club Atlético Peñarol . He signed a two-year contract. The club received a 30 percent stake in the transfer rights. With the "Aurinegros" he was used twelve times (no goal) in the league, once (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2016 and twice (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores 2017 . At the end of July 2017, the Mexican club Deportivo Toluca, coached by Hernán Cristante , signed him .
