Rodrigo de Oliveira , full name Rodrigo de Oliveira Longaray , (born May 12, 1985 in Porto Alegre ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

The 1.71 meter tall midfielder Rodrigo De Oliveira, who is also known as Rodrigo Longaray , played in youth from 1995 to 1998 for the B-team Grêmio Porto Alegres and from 1999 to 2000 for SC Internacional B. There followed career stations at various Brazilian clubs. These included Aimoré in 2002 , Portuguesa in 2003 , Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte in 2004 , Ulbra Ji-Paraná in 2005 , Porto Alegre in 2006 and Aimoré again from 2009 to 2010. He was under contract with the Uruguayan first division club Cerro Largo FC in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons . During this period, he played a total of 52 games in the Primera División with the East Uruguayans and scored one goal (2011/12: 24 games / 1 goal; 2012/13: 28/1). He was also used in two games (no goal) of the Copa Sudamericana 2012 . While he was a member of the Melo club , he also made headlines away from the sporting side, as burglars broke into his accommodation in the departmental capital twice on the same day in October 2011. In August 2013 he moved within the league to Club Atlético Cerro . With the Montevideans he ran in 26 first division matches (no goal) in the subsequent 2013/14 season. In the 2014/15 season he was used 29 times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league. During the 2015/16 season, he recorded 21 further premier league appearances (no goals). In mid-August 2016 he returned to Cerro Largo FC and played twelve second division games (no goal) in the 2016 season. At the end of January 2017, Danubio FC announced their commitment.
